Inverness Botanic Gardens
The “hottest” spot in the Highlands (maybe)! On entering the Tropical House you’ll be enveloped in a warm and humid atmosphere. In the tropics the weather is hot all year round with at least four times the amount of rain (2000mm) that falls in Inverness in a year. You will be enveloped by this colourful and spectacular collection of plants native to countries such as Mexico, Bahamas, and northern Brazil.
Inverness Golf Club
Our welcoming 19th hole at Inverness Golf Club offers a comfortable venue to relax with superb views over the course and surrounding area.
The Clubhouse which was opened in November 1997 has been positioned to take advantage of the wonderful views of the golf course wherever possible. The clubhouse was significantly extended in 2013 when it was fully refurbished with new décor and furnishings and extended member facilities such as increased locker room facilities.

A Warm Welcome to Inverness Ice Centre…
The centre provides excellent facilities for enjoying Ice Sport all year round including a five rink ice arena for Curling, Ice Hockey and Ice Skating. The rink originally opened its doors to the public in 1968.
Set in a prime location close to the banks of the River Ness and in the heart of Inverness’s many sporting facilities next to the main Leisure Complex and adjacent to the Bught Playing fields which is host to many of the city’s outdoor activities including football, rugby and shinty.

Inverness Museum & Art Gallery
Inverness Museum and Art Gallery is on Castle Wynd. It originally opened in 1881 and began with a highland and Jacobite collection.
It now also has a collection of Stuart portraits and a Cromwell portrait that was reputedly always hung upside down when under prior ownership. It also has works by Nasmyth, Pringle and Tom Scott.
John Knox House
Associated with the Scottish Reformation, the John Knox House dates back to 1470 and is located on the Royal Mile. Though the name-giver John Knox only lived in the house for a brief period in the 16th century, his association with the house stuck throughout the centuries. The Kelpies
The Helix, Home of the Kelpies, is an outdoor recreational 5-star attraction with Green Flag accreditation, situated between Falkirk and Grangemouth. It connects and engages with 17 communities through an extensive path network, stretching over 27km, with facilities including a lagoon, splash-play, adventure play zone, and visitor centre featuring a gift shop, café, and exhibition. Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum
Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, an exuberant piece of Edwardian architecture, was built in 1901 to house both an art collection and Glasgow's old industrial museum, and its eclecticism is part of its appeal; few other museums can offer a stuffed elephant, a Spitfire and an outstanding collection of French Impressionists.
